Are the recipes beginner appropriate?
Recipes are simple and beginner-friendly but experienced formulators will surely enjoy them as well. It's recommended that you are familiar with basic terms and ingredients like preservatives, emulsifiers, essential oils, gums, antioxidants, pH adjusters, especially if you will be customizing the recipes on your own. Otherwise, everything you need to know to safely create a product is explained in manufacturing instructions.

Is there an emulsion formula/recipe included?
A divine, lightweight, formula that does not use Olivem 1000 as its emulsifier and is perfect for the body and face is in the book. I will teach you how to formulate with Sucrose Stearate, an amazing, skin-loving emulsifier that is super easy to work with if you know how to ;). It's a cold-processed emulsion perfect for hot days.

Are the ingredients hard to get?
The ingredients I used in my formulas are readily available by most skincare suppliers worldwide. If you won't be able to get a specific ingredient you can always swap it out with a similar one.

Are there any bonuses in the e-book?

Is there an SPF cream recipe in the book?
Although we would all love to make our high SPF sunscreens at home it is not possible to achieve that without proper lab testing of the final product.

The formulas were developed with summer-exposed skin in mind, offering the best regenerating, soothing and protecting properties while being lightweight in texture. However, the products can be used all year round, the skin adores them.
